Announcing the Hummingbot-Vega Protocol Partnership
Hummingbot Users Can Deploy Automated Market Making and Trading Strategies on the Vega Derivatives DEX. #FreeTheMarkets
We’re excited to announce a partnership with Hummingbot, a leading provider of open-source market-making and crypto trading bots. Hummingbot has the largest community of Market Makers in crypto and, once their new Vega Connector is live, will allow them to connect Hummingbot to the Vega network and deploy Hummingbot strategies on the Vega DEX.

This partnership between Vega Protocol and the Hummingbot Foundation entails technical maintenance of the Connector software, the creation of informative and educational documentation about using Hummingbot and Vega together, and the designing of custom scripts to help users better monitor and visualise their performance when using Hummingbot on the Vega network.
Hummingbot empowers the community with the kind of tools that have typically been accessible only to sophisticated market participants, along with the educational resources to effectively utilise them. The Hummingbot software can run market-making strategies that enable users to provide liquidity on order book-based exchanges, and arbitrage strategies that help users to exploit price discrepancies across different markets or platforms.
